Your Favorite Breed Could Be Our Next Stamp
If you've been following along with us here at A Mayes Pottery, you've probably noticed something: our dog breed stamps have taken off in a way we honestly didn't expect.
We've watched them become far and away our most popular product. They show up in orders from potters, crafters, and hobbyists all over, and we love seeing what people do with them — mugs with a Golden Retriever pressed into the side, trinket dishes for a Corgi lover, ornaments made as gifts for a friend who won't stop talking about her Border Collie. (We get it!)
The Problem With Dogs (There Are So Many of Them)
Here's our happy dilemma. There are hundreds of recognized dog breeds in the world, and that's before you count the mixes, the regional varieties, and the breeds that are wildly beloved in one corner of the country and barely known in another.
Every stamp we make starts as a graphic, gets refined, and gets reworked until the details actually show up well when they're pressed into a soft surface. It's a process we genuinely enjoy — but it means we can only add so many breeds at a time. Which raises the obvious question:
**Which ones do we make next?**
We could guess. We could go down the list of the most registered breeds and work our way through it in order. But that approach assumes we know what you want, and we'd much rather just ask.
## We'd Rather Hear It From You!!!!
Our whole goal is to make the things our customers actually want. Not what we assume they want, and not what's easiest for us to produce — what people are genuinely hoping to find when they go looking for a breed stamp and come up empty.
So if you've searched our shop for your breed and it wasn't there, that's exactly the information we need. If you're a potter whose customers keep requesting a specific breed, we want to know. If you've got a scruffy little rescue whose breed is a mystery but whose silhouette is unmistakable, tell us about that too.
Every request helps us prioritize. When we see the same breed come up over and over, that's a clear signal, and it moves straight to the top of our list.
How to Let Us Know
Sending us your favorite breed takes about ten seconds:
- **Message us** directly through the site through the "Contact Us" link
- **Find us on social media** and drop your suggestion in the comments of any Dog Breed post
Feel free to name more than one. And if you want to include a photo of your dog while you're at it, we absolutely will not object.
## Thank You
None of this happens without the people who've supported this shop, shared their work, and told a friend where they got that stamp. The breed stamps became our bestseller because of you — so it only makes sense that you get a say in where they go next.
Tell us your breed. We'll get to work.
